ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Access is part of the math instruction.

Mr. B's Math Lab aims to provide age-respectful foundational mathematics for learners with a wide range of reading, language, attention, working-memory, motor, visual, and executive-function needs.

Built-in supports

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation with visible focus indicators
  • Responsive layouts for phones, tablets, Chromebooks, and larger screens
  • Read-aloud for visible lesson and practice content where supported by the browser
  • Larger text, high contrast, and reduced-choice practice options
  • Number lines, multiplication charts, calculator, and scratch workspace
  • Concrete, visual, and symbolic representations of mathematics
  • Randomized practice with immediate explanatory feedback
  • Untimed instruction without public rankings or speed-based competition

Important limits

Browser speech voices vary by device. Some diagrams and interactive models may require an adult to describe, enlarge, or reproduce them with manipulatives. The site does not replace human reading, braille or tactile graphics, AAC, sign-language interpretation, or individualized assistive technology required by a student's plan.

Our target

The site is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA, including keyboard access, visible focus, adaptable layouts, readable contrast, and usable touch targets. Automated and static checks cannot replace testing with screen readers, magnification, switch access, and real students.

Report an access barrier

If something is difficult to see, hear, understand, navigate, or operate, prepare a privacy-safe feedback note. Do not include a student's full name, disability, school record, IEP information, or other identifying details.
